[Teddy is walking down the street, completely unaware of the fact that there's a green patch on the left side of his face until he catches his reflection in a store window.  He shifts back to normal only to realize he's got wings poking out the back of his jacket.  Worried and somewhat confused he finds a mirrored surface on the side of building.  He goes to bigger greener Hulkling form to Teddy form and everything seems normal, only Teddy's not convinced and stands frowning at his own face, adjusting the size of his nose.]

[ooc:  All are welcome, and yeah, this is about to get a lot worse of a nightmare, at least for Teddy.  Visitors will be pretty okay, other than having to watch Teddy start to fall apart. Separate threads, separate iterations, totally interactive.]

[She finds herself on the street. She didn't even remember going out, but it seems natural enough now, she comes to a stop as she notices a familiar—almost familiar face.]

Teddy?

Euphie! Hi!

[Teddy sounds kind of panicked but as if he's still hoping everything is actually perfectly all right. He also still has his hand over his face.]

...I didn't mean to startle you.

[lookjustlike]

It's. Um. Fine. I just...didn't expect to see you here.

[Teddy's hair is suddenly pink.]

[deadly_legacy]

[Blinks!] Your hair!

[lookjustlike]

What about my hair?

[Turns toward the mirror, makes 'eep' face and manages to turn it green. Except then all of him turns green.]

Oh, god, why is this happening?

[deadly_legacy]

I... I don't know. [Doesn't even know your power is to shapeshift.] It must be a curse.

[lookjustlike]

I can't remember what I'm supposed to look like! I can't control it.

[deadly_legacy]

[She steps closer, looking worried.]

Control it? Can you usually control...this?

Like Billy does things and Tommy runs?

Yeah, I can change shape, like impersonating people or having wings. Only...I can't remember how I'm supposed to be and I can't seem to stop changing.

Has that happened before?

No! It's not even a power exactly, just something natural for a Skull, which I am, at least half, but you'd think the Kree half of my DNA would look like something but even I'm not sure if what I normally look like is what I'd look like if I were full Kree or not cause I look kind of like my real Dad but also like my Mom which is weird cause we weren't related and she didn't really look like that anyway.

[Teddy's background is confusing even when he's not completely incoherent and starting to get a little blobby looking]

[She is trying very hard to process this, Teddy, but she's not doing such a good job.] Skull? Kree? Are those countries in your world?

[But she's suddenly not very interested in the question as she notices the changes happening on the other boy.] Teddy, your skin! [She reaches out toward him.] Doesn't that hurt?

[Someday when they are awake, Teddy will try to explain. At the moment he is too busy looking down at his arms and screaming.]

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuggh!

Teddy! [So, so worried!] Does it hurt? What can I do?

[lookjustlike]

[Teddy is officially melting. It's pretty gross. And because this is one of his worst nightmares, there's not much Euphie is going to be able to do about it.]

T-Teddy! [Sounds horrified, mostly because she is horrified.]

[It's not a nightmare til Tommy's here, right? With his hands stuffed in his jeans pockets, staring at you, looking a little confused.]

All right there?

Um, fine! I think.

[Chews at bottom lip]

This is what my nose usually looks like, right?

Probably?

[He squints at it a little.]

It's a nose, I dunno.
